History

Edwin and Noah, along with their father, Erik, founded PointFolio in late 2025. Their love for traveling is what inspired PointFolio. As a family, Erik and his wife, Deborah, would take their four kids (Julissa, Edwin, Noah, and Zuleika) on trips all the time. They would travel up and down the East Coast of the United States and go back to visit Erik's homeland and family in the Netherlands every couple of years. They would also take their kids all around Europe every time they went. This is where Edwin and Noah developed a love for traveling. 

In college, they would plan individual trips all over the world. Edwin got his first travel rewards credit card during his senior year of college. He realized there were many airline partners, hotel partners, and travel hacks he could use to make traveling more affordable (or even free!) He would brag to his siblings and parents about all the free hotels or cheap flights he could find. Seeing how easy it was to use credit card points and how many people wanted to find deals, but didn't always know how their credit cards could work. That's when he, Noah, and Erik decided to create PointFolio, a simple credit card point tracker that recommends and finds the deals for you!
